PYROGEN Group firstly started in the manufacturing and trading of advanced fire suppression solutions based on the solid propellant fire suppression technology and become specialises in providing total fire protection solutions through expert consultancy and innovation.
The Aerosol Fire Suppression Technology was developed in the former Soviet Union, where the technology was used for their military and space programs. The technology was then brought over to Australia to be commercialised. This technology only gained International recognition in 1997 when the World’s first ever standard for aerosol fire suppression systems, [AS/NZS 4487:1997 Standards Australia/ Standards New Zealand – PYROGEN fire extinguishing aerosol systems] was published.
In 1997, the PYROGEN Group acquired the IP rights to this first ever commercially available technology in the world and started marketing the range of products under its trademark PYROGEN®. It obtained ISO9001:2000 certification in 2005.
Pyrogen products provide fire protection solutions with advanced technology of Aerosol form, impulse podwer, inert gas and hypoxic air which Environmentally Friendly, Zero Ozone Depletion and Global Warming.
